Seriously try this….I promise you will never look at a pizza the same way ever again.
Basic Formula for Pizzams – Jam, protein, cheese, garnish, fresh veg/fruit
Spiced Walnut Butter with Plum Vanilla Star Anise Pizzams
Pizza and Jam – who knew! The combinations are endless, but this decadent version is definitely a favourite – especially as a brunch treat!
Frozen pizza dough – thawed (or make your own – so simple!)
1 jar – Plum Vanilla Star Anise Preserve
1 cup mozzarella cheese – grated
1 Tbsp walnut oil – optional
1. Season & heat grill pan – you can also do these in the oven at 425.
2. Divide pizza dough into small rounds and roll out on lightly floured surface.
3. Grill one side of each pizzam remove from grill and top grilled side with walnut butter, preserves, and cheese.
4. Return to grill, ungrilled side down 😉 just until cheese is melted, remove from grill drizzle with walnut oil if desired – et voila!
